Energy Is Never Lost!!

Do you ever find yourself sucked of energy?  I have!

I wrote a post a back while  during this July blog Challenge, about energy.  I asked what you did for quick energy.  I gave you 4 things that you can do for energy, but they weren’t actually quick things.. They are life long things to be energized.. Well today I am going to talk about energy in  a little different way!

Energy is never lost, it is only transferred.. You can always get it back… However it may take some training..

Here are 10 things that work to regain your energy… or I also like to call it my personal ‘power’…

Cause I am me…

1.  The way you move your body

2.  The foods you eat.

3.  The way you handle stress

4.  The music your listen to

5.  How you  treat yourself

6.  Allowing yourself to NOT hold onto low resonating emotions

7.  NOT becoming the ‘feeling’ you are feeling, but to acknowledge and let it pass

8.  The way you talk to yourself

9.  The thoughts that you think

10.  The people that you surround yourself with.

So, do any of those resonate with you?  Do you lose your energy?  Can you get it back?  Do you practice any of these?  Maybe you have other ways to get your energy back.

Holly I love to use music for an instant mood shift and if that does not do it then I will listen to motivational speakers such as Tony Robbins or Zig Ziglar. I love how changing my mindset and doing a little deep breathe with nothing more than a change in my posture can change my mood.

  3. I love the concept of energy is never lost!
    It is so true!
I often feel drained, tired and overwhelmed and the good thing is that I know what to do to realign myself.
Handling our emotions and taking care of our physiology for me are them main aspects of it!
Thanks for adding all these valuable aspects to energy such as music, what we say to ourselves and the people we are around with!

Thank you Patricia! As you say we just need to realign… and it’s surprising how much energy we come up with!

  4. Holly, one of the greatest things we can do for our own health and peace of mind is to practice virtue and integrity. John Bradshaw wrote a book, Reclaiming Virtue. It’s on my wishlist to read in the next year. I think this would fall under “How We Treat Ourselves”

  5. Holly, I don’t think energy ever gets lost. Focusing on things you do like eating, thoughts, emotions and addressing them can be a great way to use your energy.

I especially like to stay with people that have positive energy. When a negative energy person comes into my space, it can rattle me.

Being aware is half the battle. Once we are aware, we can control our thoughts to bring more positive energy into our lives.

    Thanks,

So true, Donna!! If we are aware there is a whole different ‘battle’ we can pursue. Being around positive people makes a huge difference! That energy we just need to know how to access it and use it wisely. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. Great tips Holly! Each of the points you’ve listed is so important, but I personally believe it all begins with positive self-talk and a healthy dose of self-respect.

  7. Hello Holly, these are all great ways to get energy back. I’m feeling a bit tired right now, because it’s getting close to my bed-time. But after reading this post, I put some music on and I feel more awake now! Exercise often helps me to get re-energised also, especially a walk in the sun.

  8. Aloha Holly!

Yes, I totally believe in that concept. We are vibrating beings and full of energy in every cell of our body. The more we are aware of the things which drain our energy and give us energy, the more vibrant we feel everyday.

Thank you for sharing this awesome list with us!

    Hi Holly,

thank you for taking the time to write this useful information.

If we would live our days being aware of all those points you mentioned our well being and our energy levels would be much more in tact.

I like your suggestion of music and it worked for me as a reminder to listen to music more often – the uplifting or calming type.

    Much appreciated!

    To your Health!

Hi Hollie you have said a mouth full. We as women give until there is nothing else to give and we wonder why we have know energy. We need to search our surroundings to see where we have transferred all of our energies to. Then and only then will we be able to fix our well being.

    • Holly Fulford-Jeffrey says:

Yes Beverly, we do have to figure out how to do what we need in order to have the energy. IF we keep giving it away, we will be lacking..

  11. Holly,

I get my energy back by doing what I love, taking care of my body, my emotions and my spirit, caring for someone else in need, writing, singing, watching a romantic movie or listening to soothing music and focusing on spiritual understanding, a more comprehensive perspective filled with a sense of gratitutde and love.

What a useful list Holly, thanks for sharing it with us. I find good food and a good sleep keeps my energy levels where they should be, but for extra zip… a bit of cycling does the trick.

      Hi Sarah,

Exercise is such a great energy finder!! I just love to finish a workout and find how much more energized I am! Of course good healthy food and sleep and the others I have listed help, especially when you can’t get in that exercise!

  13. Lydia Brown says:

Holly I love the way music does so much for my spirit. Years ago I learned how to listen to the right music at the right time. I remember when I would feel low and would listen to sorrowful songs and wonder why I felt worst. I realized that I need to listen to upbeat music during those times and when I feel over hyper I would listen to something smooth like jazz. I frequently use soundscapes for falling to sleep when my mind is over active my favorite the ocean and rain.
